Four Ingredient Banana Oat Choc Chip Cookies

A simple recipe for banana oat choc chip cookies using only four simple ingredients that you probably have in your pantry right now! This is also a fabulous way to use up any ripe bananas you have sitting on your kitchen counter, without the mess of making banana bread!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana extra ripe
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips dark
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter natural
  • Optional: flakey sea salt like Maldons

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celsius
  • Mash the banana in a bowl
  • Add rolled oats, chocolate chips and peanut butter to the bowl and mix well
  • Roll a tablespoon of the mixture in your hand and press down gently onto a lined baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining mixture. This makes around 8 small cookies (you can make these larger if you wish).
  • Add a little pinch of salt over the cookies if you are using it
  • Bake at 8-10 minutes depending on the size of your cookies
  • Leave to cool on the tray before eating
